App Smashing




Grade 4 Comic Book
It's a bird!  It's a plane! It's..... a Mathematical App Smash!



Students in Mr. Duffy's grade 4 classroom were recently challenged to create a comic book that teaches a math concept.  Students used iPads and two apps:  Drawing Pad & Book Creator to accomplish this goal.

Creating Documentaries




Grade 4 Native American Documentaries




Students in Mrs. O'Brien's grade 4 classroom have been studying Native Americans of North America and how where they lived in the U.S. affected how they lived.  After creating dioramas of a Native American village, students recorded and voiced-over informational documentaries explaining how and why they chose their designs.
